Custom Live Weather Report Examples

Custom Live Weather Reports are a great addition to web sites and control panels for industries that are sensitive to weather conditions such as real estate. This section contains a simple custom weather widget that displays the weather for any given zipcode but starts with Arroyo Grande. The widget is implemented using an XML based API from Yahoo that is very rich. The API even provides 'condition' images for us to display. Go ahead and give it a try!

Custom Live Map Examples

Maps are and always have been very useful tools. Custom Live Maps are even better. We can integrate Custom Live Maps into your site and even create maps from client databases and MLS listings. The following is a very simple custom map widget (based on Google's Map API) that displays the location for any given address but starts with Arroyo Grande. Go ahead and give it a try!

Image Viewer, Photo Gallery and Effect Examples

Visuals are a big part of the web and images are a big part of visuals. The following are a few simple examples of image presentation and manipulation. Move the mouse over the first example and notice the roll over effect in the form of a border color change. Click on the image and you will see a larger version presented using a cool image viewer. Move the mouse over the thumbnails in the second example and you will notice that a roll over effect (border color change) is used along with a display effect (fade and swap) on the larger image. You can click on one of the thumbnails and then use the TAB key to change the focus through the gallery images and the effects and images changes still work. This is important for users without a mouse which is common for diabled users.

Dialog Examples

Dialogs are used to present information to, or gather information from the user in an interactive fashion that also allows more flexibilty in controlling work flow. Click the button to see an example of a web dialog. You can use the escape key or the little 'X' located at the the top right of the dialog window to dismiss the dialog.

Content Mangagement Systems (CMS)

Content Management Systems are useful to those that want more control over the content of certain sections of a web site. We are experts at producing custom CMS components that are built to your requirements and specifications.

The example below is a basic CMS interface used by one of our customers to manage their agent's contact information that is displayed on their web site.

Another form of CMS are template based sites like Wordpress. A decent alternative for a CMS is a Custom Feed Reader hooked up to a specific blog feed from sites like blogger.com.

Contact Mangagment Systems (also known as CMS)

Contact Management Systems are useful to those that want to access, edit, filter and map customers for mailing campaigns, billing and more.

The example below is a CMS interface that includes filer, mapping and export functions. The tool is used by one of our customers to manage their customer database and produce geo-targeted and vendor specific mailing campaigns.

Feed Reader Examples

Feed Readers are used to pull data from the web and present it any way we want. Feed readers are a good way to provide dynamic and user updated information on a web site. Common uses are to pull tweets from Twitter or pull posts from a blog. The feed below is coming from our blog and is the same feed used on our home page.
